WordStorm – Nanaimo’s popular Spoken Word and Open Mike event – now takes place on the fourth Tuesday of the month. Come on March 23rd to enjoy featured and lightning readers presenting their own poetry, prose, improv, song or monologue. Emerging writers take to the open mike to compete by reading their own poetry or spoken word (short prose) pieces for prizes generated from the $5 entrance fee.
